Abstract
[Extract] A 64-year-old female underwent a right lower lobectomy for an enlarging biopsy-proven amyloidoma. The patient was referred 5 years earlier with a 2 cm soft tissue density on a chest radiograph following investigation for nonspecific chest discomfort. History revealed mild chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on the background of a 50-pack-year smoking history. There were no features of infection or malignancy.
