Abstract
Desmanthus is a legume with considerable potential for grazing livestock in semiarid tropical/subtropical clay soil regions. New cultivars JCU 1-9 have been selected and crosses are being made. thousands of hectares have been sown commercially across mainly the State of Queensland.
