Abstract
Jonathan Kuttainen investigated the use and socio-economic impact of mobile money toward poverty alleviation among rural users in Kasese, west Uganda. He found social and economic benefit and vulnerability varied significantly among rural users employing the technology. Small-scale mobile money providers are using the study to refine digital financial services.
