Abstract

Tejas Singh investigated the utility of biomechanics in estimating the prognosis of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms. He found that aortic peak wall stress and peak wall rupture index can independently predict the future risk of clinically important abdominal aortic aneurysm events independent of other established risk factors.
