Abstract

Desmanthus accessions contained very high TPC and exibited high antioxidant activity. The average TPC and TFC of Desnmanthus was approximately 10-30 fold higher than lucerne while TAC was 33% higher. Desmanthus has high TPC and antioxidant activity and may be suitable as a grazed or conserved forage to reduce methane emissions.
