Abstract
An intensive professional development program for child protection practitioners aimed to build capacity and emotional sellf-care through reflective practice in demanding one-day workshops. This article describes the challenges and triumphs as the participants wrangled time pressures, the unpredictable nature of child protection work and a pandemic.
