Abstract

[Extract] Population distribution describes the spatial pattern of where people live or how the population is distributed, or spread in an area. The population distribution in a country is an important issue as it influences socioeconomic and administrative planning such as service provision, economic performance, determining electoral constituencies and making population projections.
