Abstract
[Extract] The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, with its overlapping public health and economic emergencies, is a global reminder of the importance of addressing social and environmental determinants of health and inequality, and investing in health systems oriented towards primary care, all of which are components of a primary health care (PHC) approach.
