Abstract
Chung studied impacts of microcredit on rural Vietnamese households. He found microcredit is effective in terms of improving household food consumption and social network. However, microcredit reduces children's education. This study strongly calls for attention from government policymakers to lessen any negative impacts of microcredit and effectively alleviate poverty in developing countries.
