Abstract
[Extract] Dear editor,
We appreciate Kaur and colleagues for taking the time to express their concerns about recommending azithromycin in the management of chronic periodontitis. We agree that antibiotic resistance is an ever‐increasing issue, and that azithromycin is indeed an invaluable drug for many crucial medical indications.
