Abstract
[Extract] To the Editor: We thank Eston and colleagues (2) for their scrutiny of our work on the use of automated HR feedback to regulate exercise behavior, and we offer the following comments in response to their observations. Specifically, we comment on a nomenclature issue related to exercise intensity in our study as well as issues surrounding the methodology and interpretation of findings for one of the secondary measures, namely RPE.
