Abstract
The title for this paper comes from the MSE/snoezelen definition (Verheul, 2017, p.10). This definition places emphasis on "a multitude of sensory stimulation possibilities" being "offered" to the participants by the "skilled companion". In my paper I will now talk about seven possible ways the participant might react to such an offering of sensory stimulation (Pagliano, 2012). Some reactions are positive, some are neutral and some are negative. The stimulation therefore has the potential to be either helpful or harmful to the participant. The "skilled companion" therefore must be vitally aware of theses reaction possibilities.
