Abstract

The authors discuss the challenges associated with educating children in relation to climate change. The authors convey a strong belief that educators have a moral and ethical obligation to tell the truth to young people who are in the early and primary years of schooling. They emphasise the importance of educating students to be creative and independent agents so they can gain control of their lives in times of great social and environmental change.
