Abstract

[Extract] Muscular strength is a characteristic that is sought after in every athlete that I have trained. A misconception often accompanying muscular strength is that an athlete needs to be big, however, 'big', 'muscular', 'powerful' and 'strong' are not all the same thing, and they do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.
