Abstract

[Extract] Chris Goddard brings his own inimitable, highly readable style, his knowledge of the media and child abuse, and his social work perspective to a book which is of immense value to undergraduate students and professionals working with children. Although he refers to schools and teachers only fleetingly, 2nd there is no reference at all to education for child protection, the book has already been used to advantage by student teachers investigating their role in child protection at the University of South Australia.
