Abstract
164 species of gobioid fishes are presently recorded from Singapore, an increase of 15 species since the last compilation in 2008. Seven of these are recent records from literature, while the present list provides eight new records. Seven of them are based on specimens preserved in museum collections: Trypauchen pelaeos, Trypauchenichthys sumatrensis, Trypauchenichthys typus, Bryaninops loki, Gobiodon quinquestrigatus, Oplopomus caninoides, Parachaeturichthys polynema, and one, Valenciennea puellaris, is based on a sighting.
