Abstract
In 2008 and 2009, the southern end of Caution Bay some 20km northwest of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea's capital city, witnessed intensive archaeological surveys undertaken in relation to a major development project. This chapter describes the methods and results of the archaeological surveys that prefaced later and substantial archaeological excavations at Caution Bay.
