Abstract
Harris analyses the ethical, legal, and professional issues surrounding Harry Giles' refusal to comply with treatment and medication of his Motor Neurone Disease. The analysis showed that respect for the patient's autonomy by the nurse is paramount. All decision relating to patient are subject to patient's sovereignty.
