Abstract
[Extract] The largest, single challenge within a dental curriculum is, within a 5 year program, that we produce competent and skilled clinicians who are capable of practicing independently. JCU addresses this challenge by providing:
–the early development of dentistry skills within the Simulation Laboratory (Year 1)
–early application of knowledge and skills through a school-based placement (Year 2
