Abstract
The athletic performance model shall be presented as an integrated performance outcome, which requires a delicate balance between optional training environment and under-performance. As such, development of an elite athletes' performance potential requires a systematic approach to training, and this includes addressing physical, psychological, technical, and tactical preparation. In order to achieve a positive integrated performance outcome one must monitor the stress-fatigue state. Therefore, this presentation shall overview three specific factors that have the greatest impact on the stress/fatigue state, these being physiology, psychology and health/lifestyle.
