Abstract

There is much fear and mythology about spiders and their bites throughout Australia and the world.1 Despite some recent excellent prospective Australian studies on spider bite,2–4 I suspect that there are still unidentified spiders and syndromes. I report the first case of survival from a 'Big Black Spider Bite' from the desert region of Western Australia.
