Abstract
This very small frog measures 11-17 mm in length (males average 13 mm, females slightly larger) and has a squat body shape, blunt face and small hind limbs. The skin texture ranges from smooth to bumpy. The dorsal colour and pattern is highly variable, with generally dark blotches or mottling on a grey, brown and orange background.
