Abstract

[Extract] Environmental groups such as Greenpeace often feel like an undersized David battling corporate Goliaths. Yet these eco-groups are winning some important battles with environment-harming firms because they have a hefty stone to sling – consumer boycotts. Now some politicians want to make these boycotts illegal – to take away David's stone. Is this right or wrong?
