Abstract

[Extract:] Media Nomads is a gentle and illunimating film about two of the 'father figures' in Australian Aboriginal media, Bill and Mick Thaiday. Written and directed by Donna Ives, an Indigenous filmmaker from North Queensland, the film combines contemporary footage with archival material to piece together a portrait of two brothers whose shared passion for radio has led them on criss-crossing paths across the country for more than twenty years.
