Abstract
[Extract] This volume would be an ideal resource for developing and structuring a new graduate student course in the biological sciences. The information conveyed is up to date, well organized, and imperative for today's scientists, both young and established. While perusing the book, I found myself wishing I had it as a reference, or had taken a course developed around this volume, when I began my Master's Degree, let alone throughout my Ph.D. Now, postgraduate, I have found Divan's work to be a useful reference tool.
