Abstract

Non-Indigenous academic describes his involvement over several years in the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal and Topical Health (CRCATH) Indigenous Education and Health Program and its commitment to advancing Indigenous research capacity within the Northern Territory. He focuses on the role of institutional research consortia, emphasizing that the important task of improving Indigenous health demands both advancing and supporting Indigenous participation and capacity, and developing effective collaborative partnerships.
