Abstract
[Extract] 'Marine worms' is the collective name given to a group of soft-bodied, legless, invertebrate animals that are longer than they are wide. About 20 phyla of 'worms' have been recorded from the Great Barrier Reef, where the coral habitats support an amazingly diverse variety of segmented worms, flatworms, ribbon worms, peanut worms and spoon worms.
