Abstract

Cyber-ethnography is the application of the ethnographic method to the study of online communities and virtual worlds. This article draws on cyber-ethnographic literature and ethnographic data from the virtual world 'Entropia Universe' to document the emergence and development of the cyber-ethnographic method.
