Abstract

Cross-linguistically valid core semantic types of adjectives are DIMENSION, AGE, VALUE, and COLOUR (Dixon 2006). This paper outlines the (morpho)syntactic features of adjectives of these types in the Gur language Buli and correlates them semantically and structurally with adjectival quantifiers.
