Abstract
How to allocate unused bandwidth fairly and how to allocate the bandwidth in case of congestion are the longstanding problems for the Differentiated Service (DiffServ). In this paper, we propose the price-based admission control with the dynamic edge-aware resource discovery. We then develop the simulation framework to evaluate the performance of the proposal. The results show that the scheme takes advantage of application significant gains in terms of network resource availability.
