Abstract
This paper presents the finite element analysis of a dynamic characteristic for a laminated timber bridge using mixed beam and shell elements. Several models are developed for two-dimensional and three-dimensional representation of the bridge. Plastic analysis is also implemented in modeling the vibration behavior of the timber bridge. The numerical analyses are compared with the experimental results. An efficient finite element analysis is presented.
