Abstract

This paper presents an investigation on the rehabilitation effect of fibre composite reinforcement (FCR) materials on deteriorated concrete beams. Tests were done on four reinforced concrete beams retrofitted with composite materials. Results indicate that externally bonded composite materials provide an effective means of improving the moment capacity of deteriorated concrete beams.
