Abstract
Provision of community legal services to women was the focus of a research study, with findings directly transferable to provision of legal services by private law firms - taking a 'feminist client-centered' approach facilitates the flow of relevant information and allows a solicitor to advise on legal and non-legal options available - having an advisor who understands women's experiences would empower many women to achieve more satisfactory solutions to problems faced.
