Abstract

While scenarios have often been used in face-to-face Education lectures and tutorials to get learners to apply theory to hypothetical classroom situations, using scenarios virtually, in a subject delivered entirely online, presents new and exciting challenges to pre-service teacher educators. "Webfolio" is a Webquest program created to present professional development topics to a community of online Early Childhood pre-service teachers. It includes scenarios about current and relevant professional development issues, support material to inform the scenarios. and problems to solve around each issue.
