Abstract

[Extract]

• Once you are about to start writing a paper you have to first select the journal you intend to send your article

• Once you select the journal it is important to determine if there are any special requirements of the journal. Read the instructions to author. It usually differs from journal to journal but there is no much difference. Certain journals may specify the rules of nomenclature or certain style of writing. Do it accordingly.

• If your study includes experiments on human beings or animals then ethical committee clearance is a must . You would have got the clearance before you conduct the study. Keep the certificate ready.

• Most of the journals prefer the use of international system for units of measurements [SI units]. If it specifies then use the SI units only.
