Abstract

Endodontics requires special instruments and the use of special equipment. This causes high cost base, which are usually not covered by BEMA positions nor economically by the GOZ-standard sentence. Efficiency can also be caused by shortening the treatment time. This requires in addition to experience and skill of the treating team, especially the optimization of the organizational workflow. Here is an example of a specialized Endodontieeinheit be shown at a university clinic of how to optimize workflow and high speed in time to allow stress-free dentist and assistant can focus on their primary therapy.
