Abstract

Pyruvate.Pj dikinase (PPDK) was isolated and purified from the leaf tissue of a number of Flaveria species and the cold lability of the purified enzymes studied. The PPDK from F. brownii (a C3/C4 intermediate species) showed a high level of stability compared to other Flaveria species.
